Carrion de Los Condes

This was a tough stretch to walk. It was a hot unshaded stretch of trail alongside a busy highway for many miles. Then I saw this sign. Finally, I was just 6 kilometers away from my destination. I wanted to give up many times this day, but the Camino taught me, "why quit if you can just slow down." So that's what I always did when I felt I couldn't go anymore. **This photo was taken on Day 26 of my Camino Frances. Somewhere between Fromista & Carrion de Los Condes**
