Original or Alternate Route

This was a day of extreme highs and lows. I walked through the most incredible forests, completely alone. However, it was because I took what I thought was an Alternate route into Samos. It wasn't - it was to a different town completely. Then I got lost for hours in the middle of nowhere. Scary but worth the experience. Not sure if I would still have chosen to "go right", after how much my feet hurt this day. **This photo was taken on Day 46 of my Camino Frances. Somewhere between Fonfria & Samos**
