Description
"Buen Camino" is a phrase I heard (or read) multiple times daily. I heard it from fellow pilgrims, local citizens, shop owners, cyclists, or even shouted from a window of a speeding car. It's a greeting, a goodbye, a salutation, a rallying call. For me, when I encounter "Buen Camino," it is not only telling me to "have a good walk." But it's a key that unlocks within my being feelings of hope, joy, acknowledgment, peace, fortitude, empathy, and camaraderie. When you hear these words, you know the person saying it "gets it." Simple as that.
