True Thirst

I learned true thirst on my first day walking the Camino. I walked under the hot afternoon sun for hours. Foolishly, I left SJPDP with only a small water bottle. A recipe for complete disaster. After a few hours of hiking over the steep hills to Orisson Refuge, I was dehydrated and faint. This water fountain saved my life right outside the Albergue after climbing the last hill to Orisson. **This photo was taken on Day 1 of my Camino Frances at Orisson Refuge**
